Albury Wodonga Health Forum
Details:
Approx. 200 x Year 11 to 12 students from NSW and VIC schools attend the annual Albury Wodonga Health Forum, hosted at La Trobe University Wodonga campus.
This event is designed to support senior high school students in making informed decisions about their future career paths in health. Attendance is limited, with a select number of students invited from each school. Those attending will have already expressed an interest in the health field but may still be exploring different training pathways and specialisations.
Outline of daily activities:
All students participate in opening simulation session before breaking into 10 groups to attend occupation specific workshops. Students attend 4 workshops throughout the day, with a break for a free BBQ lunch.
What to bring:
Drink bottle, light snacks if required. La Mocka cafe will be open but students should not rely on this, as there is not enough time between sessions to serve all attendees.
Transport:
NSW schools can contact RIEP for support if required.
Supervision:
Schools must send teachers to supervise within sessions.
Registration:
Student registration. (Health Forum page to be visible in 2026)
